PlanSA address workflow
Use the Planning and Design Code and South Australian Property and Planning Atlas to identify zoning, overlays and policies for the address. Search the development application register for relevant history and identify the relevant authority. Describe the proposed visitor accommodation facts and ask whether a change of use or other approval is required. Obtain professional planning advice when definitions or pathways are uncertain.
Evidence, not absence
The absence of a NSW- or WA-style statewide property register does not remove planning, building, council, strata, owner, contract, insurance or safety questions. Record the current code version, search results, council or authority response and any approval relied upon. Policy discussion is not operating law until enacted.

Review parking, waste, noise, neighbours, emergency access and building suitability. Match guest and stay design to the property and approval conditions. Recheck PlanSA and the relevant authority before material changes or renewal.
