Module 38 working resource

Photography Brief and Shot List

Capture the full, accurate guest journey and property evidence.

HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE

Photography as evidence

Prepare a shot list that follows the guest journey and shows room relationships, sleeping arrangements, workspace, access, parking and meaningful amenities. Images should represent current condition and included items. Avoid lenses, crops or edits that materially misrepresent size, outlook, privacy or condition. Reshoot after substantial changes.

Listing hierarchy

Lead with the guest outcome and strongest verified fit, then explain layout, location, inclusions, access, rules and limitations. Use specific facts rather than superlatives. Write for the right guest, not maximum clicks. Clear parking, stairs, noise context, accessibility limits and bed configurations reduce unsuitable bookings.

Claims and consistency

Check the listing against owner consent, approvals, insurance, building rules and actual inventory. Do not advertise services, occupancy or uses outside those boundaries. Maintain a listing change log and review every channel after updates so outdated claims do not persist.
